The Long Island Divers Association is proud to present our Annual Film Festival once again!
36th Annual Film Festival
Thank you for Attending!
The Long Island Divers Association (LIDA) was proud to present our 36th Annual Film Festival. We would like to report that our film festival that was held on Saturday January 27, 2024 at Hofstra University Student Center Theater, Hempstead, NY was a huge success!
The event was a great way for all of us to experience the work of some very accomplished film makers and photographers, to re-connect in-person and talk about diving as well to hopefully begin dreaming about new dive adventures to come.
The annual LIDA Film Festival is our most significant source of fund raising for the year and we are deeply grateful to all of those who attended!
The Long Island Divers Association would also like to thank all of our sponsors for supporting us and hope everyone will support their local dive shops and dive boats during these uncertain times!
LIDA would also like to thank all our speakers for their wonderful presentations. The LIDA Film Festival would not be possible without our amazing speakers and sponsors.
Finally, if you did not attend this year's event, we encourage you to consider attending next year. The date will be announced in the near future!
Thank you all again.
Safe Diving,
LIDA Officers
